David began his career as an Austin Fire Firefighter in 1999 where he originated loans on the side. As his referral business quicky grew, David made the decision to join in with his former college roommate to open Prodigy Mortgage and become a fulltime originator years later. After 20 years in the industry, David has weathered the ebbs and flows of the lending industry and knows how to help customers navigate any economic market. With David's tenure, customers will receive a wealth of knowledge that brings a sense of comfort and stability as they work with a trusted partner to handle their financial needs and guide them to a quick and easy closing. David is a proud father of two teenage boys who he shares the love of football with, a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and a graduate of Sam Houston State University where he is a Sigma Chi Alumnus. 



Staci Cockrell - Business Development & Marketing Manager

Staci has been in the corporate sales arena for over 20 years and is highly accomplished in her tenured career calling on multiple different platforms spanning from supply chain to C-Suite. Staci moved to Austin in 1999 where she met David and they married in 2001.  With a vast knowledge of the Austin business market, including working as a former Real Estate Agent, Staci works in tandem with her husband David to cultivate the highest level of customer experience during the lending process for both the customer and vendor partners. Staci is a former TCU-Texas Christian University Graduate, where she is a Pi Beta Phi Alumna. Staci's greatest accomplishment is her two teenage boys, Christian and Garrison.
